So I’ve had very little appetite for a loong time and its finally back!- only I can just be bothered making very quick food now! Here’s a peak at Saturdays dinner.. which includes a pre-cooked chicken, pre-made salad, bread left over from breakfast and plastic plates! Yay.. easy and tasty.

- making something from pretty fabrics for nieces & nephews.. While at the summer house I had a great idea for an Easter creation using fabric, but now I can’t remember what it was! Must check my sketch book.

Making a sweet treat tomorrow to celebrate that we may have a girl!
It’s been another one of those days.. I’ve been sick and feeling ill all day. My throat even hurts from vomiting. We had Dominos for dinner because there was no way I was going to cook. I did accomplish a couple of basic tasks today, a shower because I stank.. and later I took on the dishes. After being in bed most of today and waking up wondering when there had been an earthquake in our bedroom.. and if I had even slept through it. I had to do something to try get my home in some kind of order and as I didn’t feel up to facing the room disaster I went for the next biggest- the kitchen.
As I am not convinced that our dishwasher is working to its full capacity (MrA’s job to keep it so) I went old school and done all the dishes yep you got it, by hand. Its been a while.
I run out of space and ended up with a sparkly pile of dishes all over the counter- notice how clean they are? I like my dishes super clean. I actually believe that I wash them better than the dishwasher- but the dishwasher only has one job to do so I let it take the lead there.
What is Mr A doing while all this is going on..
He had a long day too at work being a superpants so I let him sleep..
I feel inspired to sew when I’m at the summerhouse.
There are always some small careful changes made there each season by Helmi (that I love to notice) as though she were some kind of magic fairy who likes to move things around.
Mr A is officially into an adult age.. don’t worry dear my number is soon to join yours. His smile gets more magnificent to me each year. Love this hunk of a man child.
I’m trying to decide right now if I want popcorn or not. I like the buttery goodness as it melts in my mouth but I don’t like having my hands greasy and salty. I’ve never liked having my hands greasy or sticky- even when I was very little.
Some say that the early stages of being pregnant feels like popcorn popping. I can’t really say that I felt that.. but I can feel the little wriggler moving and I know it is restless like its mum.
I knew that this time would creep up suddenly as it has! Don’t you just wish that about now right before all the festivities completely take off.. that you could just get away for a couple of days, to catch your breath, have some relax time and slow down a bit before getting ready to dive back on the roller coaster of seasonal good will?
Well.. we were kind of expecting to feel that way and that is why months ago we booked a little time together on a trip to Stockholm. Actually We were making the most of a given situation that my works Christmas lunch is there.. and my work were already paying my flight so why not we thought pay the extra and upgrade the room for two and stay the extra night.. to make a full weekend out of it. We have been looking mucho forward to this and can’t believe that its already here and that we leave tomorrow. A day to party and eat, a day to shop and a day for a looong lie in!
We will be staying at the lovely Nordic light hotel which gets its name for its being equipped with light therapy suites.. and by the way has very comfy Swedish designer beds, its just a very nice hotel!
