Hello
So I have been itching to show/tell you about my new toy! That is the Big Scalloped Edged Circle Puncher Machine. A long title for an instrument that I obviously don’t know the true name for. Anyway I purchased it at the big scrapbook ‘crop’ event that I went to with the very fun Alaina.. so fun infact that I didn’t do much scrapping but more of the chatting..

explanation:
Smiley reminder Pencils for the YW who have been assigned a goal to do three things each and every day. It may look to the untrained non Danish eye to read ‘1.bed’ but does in fact mean pray but last I knew you could combine them.. 2.study 3.smile! Oh and do I have lots lots more to use my BSECPM for!
I very excitedly took my camera along with me to the cropper but after taking just ONE picture the battery died ;( So.. here’s the one picture from the crop.. pretty pathetic huh but you can see the newly purchased Paper shaper. (ah so that is what it’s called)

Its warm and lively not to mention it has a chalkboard wall, the kitchen is
almost finished!
We have been looking for a table that works in our little kitchen then last week I was on my way to work when I cycled past thus shop with a little table for sale outside it. I’m a little concerned that our kitchen gets too modern looking, its must have some cool retro! Anyway back to the table.. we have looked at many and then I see this one which is amazing, I didn’t have time to stop and hoped it would still be there the next day- when I went past then I was in a hurry but I was lucky that it was still I jumped off my bike to find it was in fair condition second hand and for only 50 DKK! thats about 5GBP.. uh huh mega bargain for the perfect finishing touch! I can’t show you now tho because its not up yet but believe you me its PERFECT in every way! Still cant believe how spacious our little kitchen feels/is now!
here’s a sneak peak of the smallest cutest kitchen in the world..
(well almost)

You’ll just have to check back to see the complete finished kitchen!

Our little pumpkin..
yes just a little en.
And you may or may not have noticed these little ones already..

We’ve been very busy (and sick) as of late but I can’t wait to show you when I have a spare minute what we’ve been doing! Our little space is really coming along.. and I went to ‘fabric heaven’ (as Mrs Lene calls it) last Saturday and got myself kitted out for Christmas and for making a nappy bag.. not for me, for Amy! (:

Yesterday the talks at church were amazing- I couldn’t help smiling.. as I listened to how we can choose life or death.. I think we forget that it is along with the grace of God our choice.. to be happy or not, to nurture spiritual treasures and take the best that is offered in trials or not.

I had to giggle to myself as I remembered hearing my mum tell a story of when she had gone on holiday and a neighbor had been checking in on the house feeding the pets, watering the plants etc. On my mum’s return the Neighbor informed her- I watered that plant in the garden everyday and its really come on, my mum bewildered at what plant in the garden she was talking about was taken to see it, sure enough the plant was huuuge, big and strong and about as tall as mum. That plant tho, my mum said.. is a weed.
I think I have to pay some more attention to what I’m nurturing in my life.. I think I’ve got some big strong weeds!

Oprah was here for the IOC meeting and of course she couldn’t resist making a show on Copenhagen. Charmed by the simple living, fair benefits and family orientedness in Danish lifestyle. A show was aired today, introducing the world to the ‘happiest women on earth’. You can read and get a tour of a danish family home here. Now everyones like – ‘I want to live in Copenhagen!’ but the truth is half of them wouldn’t be able to hack it!

Yep her name is Helen and she is super talented.. but more than that, its her care and kindness in how she uses her precious talent. Now she even has little tags for her beautiful knits, so sweet- you can check out her handmade items in the shop here (you can even make a request if she’s not got what you are looking for) and then you can take a peek at life in Scotland on her blog here!

Thank you lord for my life
and all my blessings (including those disguised as challenges)

I love you
Since I first heard we will have guests I have been preparing in my mind all the amazing things we will do this Christmas, and again now as I’m putting in for holidays from work. Its a luxury for me to have extra time off work around Christmas, I haven’t had that for … 9 years!! So you can see why I am so happy! But no.. really I am so so excited for my parents and possibly also some much loved friends will be joining us.
Christmas will be full on Dane style, they really know how to do Christmas, so magical. Thanks H.C.Andersen. It’s really going to be quite special (My parents aren’t ones to normally leave their own abode at Christmas time) I’ll tell you more about the Jul plans later.. but for a taster this is one of the places we will visit..

Oprah, Obama, Aqua and DAD are a few who were in town this weekend for the International Olympic Committee meeting where they announced the host for the next Olympic games.. and the winner is.. Rio. We got a very fun weekend out of it as usual. I don’t miss much as I cycle through the city everyday. Mr A came to meet me from work as he so often kindly does on Fridays before we hit the town! I only had my phone on me for taking pics again urgh.

Its Aqua!! I would have been soo excited about this ten years ago.

Then I was introduced to the music responsible for the loss of hearing in MrA’s left ear before we snuck away for dinner and a movie- UP is fabulous, though made me teary and mrA held my hand verry tightly through except for when he needed both hands for his engnormmous soda.
