Yesterday the talks at church were amazing- I couldn’t help smiling.. as I listened to how we can choose life or death.. I think we forget that it is along with the grace of God our choice.. to be happy or not, to nurture spiritual treasures and take the best that is offered in trials or not.

I had to giggle to myself as I remembered hearing my mum tell a story of when she had gone on holiday and a neighbor had been checking in on the house feeding the pets, watering the plants etc. On my mum’s return the Neighbor informed her- I watered that plant in the garden everyday and its really come on, my mum bewildered at what plant in the garden she was talking about was taken to see it, sure enough the plant was huuuge, big and strong and about as tall as mum. That plant tho, my mum said.. is a weed.

I think I have to pay some more attention to what I’m nurturing in my life.. I think I’ve got some big strong weeds!
