I am such a fortunate girl..

I have the sweetest most wonderful parent in-laws ever… they have big hearts and are wildly thoughtful, kind and talented. I have been honoured with a beautiful stylish handmade patchwork quilt from mor (mum) who makes us all a blanket! My patchwork is a bit special in that it is not the traditional style- it is made using all finish design marimekko fabric that we share a love for.

The colours are wonderful and fresh and with the patterns on the blanket they tell a story of a girl who loves from the highlands behind the sea under red evening skies… (according to Helmi) It was so much fun being part of creating the layout.

Oo and I just had to show our first orchid that we haven’t killed, it re-bloomed!
