What a month! Its been insane. Note to self- Next year leading up to Christmas don’t do anything!! I’m already sooo looking forward to getting back from our Christmas travels and enjoying bringing in the new year from the couch.. my dad always say’s ’start the year how you want to finish it’ indeed!

Christmas came early. We had the pleasure of spending the evening with MrA’s parents, I am soo soo fortunate that I ADORE my parent in-law’s It was a very cosy evening, we enjoyed pancakes for dessert and I was completely spoiled with gifts, MrA’s is being sent to the UK for when we arrive there, so he was a bit green, they gave him a candy bag and stuff tho!

I was excited before about my MIL making me a patchwork blanket, but when she came over and showed me fabrics she’d got in her recent visit to Finland, now I am E X C I T E D ! She really knows the best places.. a woman of my own heart- marimekko fabrics gallore for my blanket including a big Pear centre-piece?! and a marimekko swing bag- yay!- she knows me so well!- even details of ‘my’ colours.. ohh and she MADE me (and all her children in-law) socks! I’m very excited about that and aso that all Mr A and his brothers’ socks were all hand knit when they were younger.  lovely!

Yesterday morning I had a little shock. I was starting work when I thought I could hear something up with the ventilation system and then thought my vision had gone weird again and then noticed that some fairly heavy and well grounded machinery was moving to and fro.. I was like whooa! Alerted my (still sleeping?) co-worker who was like- somone must have slammed a door. ! 20 min later I am still trying to convince myself that it was my shakey vision when I learn from another co-worker that It was an earth quake! It’s point was mainly Sweden.. weird! It lasted 5 seconds (seemed longer) and was 4.2 on the richter scale.. some said that their apartments ’swayed’ and I heard a couple of people fell out their beds, some off the toilet! (Mr A Slept right through it- I was afraid his antlers above his bed had fallen and killed him when he wouldn’t answer his phone) From what I’m told their was one death caused by it, a wardrobe fell and killed a  tortoise. yep.
