bags of goodies!
I’m helping again this year with the ward Christmas party, making up goodie bags on a small budget.
I got a little clever and done a drawing theme with scribble books that I made myself and then some sweets. I love the bobble-top pencils! Last year we stretched the budget by making up some coloring books.
I was asked to make 12 bags (extras are always good tho) Its hard to explain how little I spent, Danish kroner isn’t quite like the pound or dollar. I amazed myself, making the bags around likes of 92p each… I think the finished item looks worth more.
I’m not including cost of the paper- my own printer paper sandwiched between two pieces of coloured card, I finished 12 books using just one page of scrapbook paper which I folded and stapled a strip of over the top for the decorated part.. eeaasy!
Paper bags were zilcho as I grabbed them at the place where I got the coloured pencils at in tubs of 40 (4 each of ten colours) at 10 kr- the equivelent of 1 gbp. When I’m in Britain end of this month I like it so much I think I’m going to do something similar for in my nephew’s Christmas stocking (:

The goodie bags look super! Such a good job. You are a total bargain hunter, me thinks! I can’t wait to see them in person
