Poppy
For memorial day I made a poppy, it’s something that is close to my heart. I had fun using the chalks Lene recomended me- they come in handy for so many things, a good finishing touch wouldn’t you agree?

I thought I had posted on here my feelings about Poppy Day. This year the day was much more sombre than usual. It is very close to my heart too – probably for the same reasons as it is for you. It’s a holiday here. I was quite sad reading friends blogs saying things like “Happy Veterans Day” and talking about how they didn’t really know what the day was about but they were so glad for the day off. It was sort of sickening actually.
You’re poppy is beautiful. I’m glad that we were taught to really respect November 11th.
