I got back from camp today. OH MY GOSH! Do Danes rough it!! Every other y.w. camp I’ve been to (7 of them) we have had a hall to meet in, where we also had dinner.. yep, a camp cook. Once I was even the cook’s assistant at camp. In Danish yw camp we even make our own waste disposal, all our meals on a fire, and a shelter and a seated table to eat at, we made an assault course too phew!

On the hike we stopped a few times for activities, the first was to put ingredients together for a bread dough that we would cook for dinner in a bag and tie it on girls’ stomach while they hike, the heat helping the dough to rise- we thought it was funny that they looked pregnant yep you know the pun I’m thinking of..!

Um yeah I got an allergic reaction to an insect bite, looks like its still getting bigger and worse, that picture was taken yesterday or this morning, going to the doctors first thing tomorrow. Lots of wasps.. they are on the outside of the inner lining of my tent- was at least 8 (I think there was ten!) I got stung on the neck- while I was putting my compass on.. hurt like heck, nasty nasty.. that day four more girls in my group were stung, and the same in another team I know… I think likely in all the groups too. I know at least two other leaders were. We only got peace from them when it rained- and when it rained it poured.. One time I heard somone saying they were praying for the rain to stop and I was liike… I’m praying for it not to..! I was so desperate to have a break from annoying wasps in my face. I am soo happy to be home and dry and have my bed tonight. Getting home was doubley great if that is even possible- when I saw that hubby babes had tidied all the house and left me lots of surprizes- including a desktop to fullfill all my needs.. tis what I get for marrying a tech geek (: he’s away with the boys for the weekend.
