I used brushes for the first time on this. The only picture I’ve seen of my grand mother from when she was younger, she is about 19 here. My grandmothers brother was fighting in the war with my now grandfather, who stole a birthday card off his friend to get the address to write to Grace. This is the picture that Grace sent to her brothers friend (grandpa) who wrote to her. It does not do justice to see the picture in so small scale. Its been great to see this picture, and to feel I can relate more to the woman I know as gran.
