My first Danish Easter, we’ll be spending it with family at the summer house. A few traditions new to me- making gækkebrev (paper clippings) put a mark on them for each of your initials and if the person you send it to can’t guess who it’s from, later when it is revealed they have to give you an egg and if they do guess correctly you give them an egg.. I’d have loved this as a kid.. and I’ll be making the chocolate covered marzipan eggs.. yum
