Snowballs*
let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
This is a great Christmas treat for friends if you are on a low budget, the recipe makes loads, I x the amounts at least by 4 every time I make it! It’s also fun for little ones to make… be warned it can get a little bit sticky and messy, but thats half the fun!
I made big snow ball clusters this year by taking hand fulls of the musli balls and wrapping them in cellophane tied with christmas ribbon, they looked great and they went down not bad either : )
you will need;
40g butter
3tsp. golden syrup
50g soft light brown sugar
150g musli
50g desiccated coconut (to roll musli balls in)
——————————————-
1. Melt the butter
2. Add the sugar to the melted butter- heat gently untill sugar granules are disolved.
3. take sugar and butter mixture off heat and add the musli
4. mix well and allow to cool
5. roll teaspoon sizes of the mixture in your hands to create bite size balls
6. roll the balls in the coconut, sitting them into little cake cases is optional- depends what your going to do with them. Best eaten when cooled!
enjoy!
